Anca Oana Docea is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, where she teaches Toxicology and the Romanian representative in the Committee for Risk Assessment of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). She is a specialist pharmacist in Clinical Pharmacy, holds a Master's degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology, the title of European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) and the title of PhD in Medicine. She specialises in animal toxicology testing, in vivo neurocognitive testing and biochemical and immunohistochemical analysis. She has completed specializations in clinical toxicology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and University of Granada, Spain, specialization in transcriptome database analysis methods at King's College London and specialization in new in vivo and in vitro models for the assessment of xenobiotic neurotoxicity at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA. Currently she is an associate editor for Toxicology Reports Journal (ELSEVIER) and guest-editor for a number of special issues in Toxicology Reports journal (ELSEVIER), Food and Chemical Toxicology (ELSEVIER), Frontiers in Pharmacology (Frontiers), Medicine (MDPI), Life (MDPI). She has published more than 110 scientific articles (of which 103 indexed ISI Clarivate), 2 books with didactic profile and 7 book chapters in international publishers, national and international recognition is given by an H-index of 29 (Web of Science, Clarivate Analytics).
